  • NEWS: Sciving explores crowdfunding for app launch | Sciving

As November unfolds, Sciving is entering the next stage of its digital journey with an initiative designed to reach students far beyond the campuses currently involved in early discussions. While the development of the Sciving App continues to progress, this month marks the beginning of a strategy aimed at raising worldwide awareness of Sciving’s mission. 18th november 2025 Sciving explores crowdfunding for app development and student access As the year draws toward its close, Sciving is entering a period of renewed momentum. The preparations for the Sciving App have continued to advance throughout the autumn, and November brings with it a bold new initiative aimed at expanding student access, increasing visibility, and strengthening the community that stands behind Sciving’s mission. Sciving is now exploring the use of crowdfunding not only as a means to support the development of the app, but as a way to bring global attention to the mission behind it. The decision to consider crowdfunding grew from a simple realization: many students, whether in Europe or far beyond, face the same challenges of affordability, sustainability, and access to supportive communities. By opening the project to a broader audience, Sciving hopes to create a collective sense of ownership and invite students everywhere to participate in shaping tools designed for their future. Crowdfunding offers a way for students and supporters to discover Sciving’s vision early, engage with its development, and share it within their own networks. The aim is to create a wave of awareness that extends far beyond the first campuses set to adopt Sciving housing. Central to this effort is the Sciving App itself, which will become the gateway to opportunities, savings, and community engagement. Through collaborations with educational retailers, restaurants, cafés, and brands, the app will provide students access to discounts on essential study materials and everyday necessities. These benefits are designed to ease financial pressures and make daily routines more affordable, whether students are buying books, meeting friends for a meal, or preparing for a demanding semester. By highlighting these features in the crowdfunding campaign, Sciving hopes to demonstrate the immediate, practical value the app offers to students worldwide. In addition to financial support, the app will help students connect with each other in meaningful ways. It will give them a place to share ideas, work together on sustainability projects, and build relationships across campuses and countries. Communication with the Sciving team will be built directly into the platform, allowing students to share feedback and suggestions in real time. As Sciving’s presence begins to spread internationally, the partnerships formed near each campus will serve as local examples of the kind of community-driven student environment Sciving aims to create. These collaborations will show how affordable meals, supportive services, and accessible study environments can all become part of a larger ecosystem that prioritizes student well-being. By increasing awareness worldwide, Sciving hopes to inspire students from many regions to advocate for similar opportunities at their own universities. At its core, exploring crowdfunding is about more than financing app development. It is about amplifying the mission behind Sciving and building a shared sense of purpose among students everywhere. The more people who learn about the project, the stronger the foundation becomes for creating accessible, sustainable, and connected student living on a global scale. As the plans for the crowdfunding campaign continue to take shape, Sciving looks forward to sharing how students and supporters can participate in this new chapter. November marks an important moment, as Sciving steps into a broader conversation with students worldwide, inviting them to help shape the future of student life and the digital tools that support it. • NEWS: Launching Student Housing in Europe | Sciving

March brings new momentum as Sciving moves closer to announcing the first locations for its student housing units. After months of preparation and ongoing conversations with universities across Europe, Sciving expects to share the selected sites in the coming months. 22nd april 2025 Sciving Expands Operations with New Management and Cleaning Service Picture taken at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) Sciving is excited to announce a major step toward ensuring long-term quality and reliability in the day-to-day experience of our residents. This month, Sciving officially began the development of its own internal branch dedicated to the management and cleaning of all Sciving housing units. This initiative stems from a simple but important goal: to ensure that all Sciving homes meet the same high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management regardless of location. While many housing providers outsource these services, we believe that directly managing these responsibilities allows us to provide a better experience for students, reduce inefficiencies, and take more ownership over the environments we create. From the very beginning, Sciving’s mission has been to provide sustainable, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed housing for students. With the addition of our internal operations branch, we are taking that commitment one step further. By keeping our services in-house, we gain full control over everything from daily cleaning routines to on-call maintenance and support. This will allow us to be more proactive, consistent, and responsive to the needs of our residents. It also means we can align our services with the same environmental values that guide the design and construction of our units, for example by using sustainable cleaning products, minimizing waste, and training our staff in energy-efficient maintenance practices. We also recognize that universities may already have established campus facilities teams or preferred partnerships. That’s why our model is designed to be flexible. While Sciving will offer a full-service operational package as a default, we also invite universities to propose their own internal teams to manage the units locally if that better suits their needs. In these cases, we will work closely with those teams to provide guidelines and training, ensuring that students receive the same high-quality experience regardless of who is delivering it. The creation of this new operational branch has already begun, with recruitment and training processes currently underway. Our team is focused on building a service model that reflects the same attention to detail, care, and sustainability that goes into our physical housing units. Just as we have rethought student housing design from the ground up, we are now rethinking the way student housing is maintained and managed. As our first residents prepare to move in later this year, we are laying the groundwork for a long-term vision of student housing that is both innovative and dependable. We look forward to sharing more updates as our new management and cleaning branch takes shape and as we continue working with universities to build the future of student living together. • NEWS: Sciving prepares for a year of construction and action on the student housing crisis | Sciving

As 2026 begins, Sciving enters the year with a renewed sense of direction and responsibility. After a year focused on preparation, partnerships, and development, the coming months will center on construction, new global collaborations, and direct engagement with one of the most pressing challenges facing students today: the growing housing crisis. 29th january 2026 Sciving prepares for a year of construction and action on the student housing crisis As 2026 begins, Sciving enters the year with a renewed sense of direction and responsibility. After a year focused on preparation, partnerships, and development, the coming months will center on construction, new global collaborations, and direct engagement with one of the most pressing challenges facing students today: the growing housing crisis. Across Europe, students continue to struggle to find affordable housing close to their universities. Cities such as Copenhagen reflect a wider reality shared by many capitals, where rising rents, limited availability, and long waiting lists make it increasingly difficult for students to secure stable living conditions. Access to education is becoming closely connected to access to housing, and this reality is shaping Sciving’s priorities for the year ahead. Throughout 2025, Sciving built the foundation needed to move from planning into execution. Partnerships with universities, municipalities, and industry collaborators created the framework required to begin real construction projects. In 2026, that work moves forward as Sciving prepares sites, aligns manufacturing processes, and coordinates logistics to begin delivering student housing communities designed around affordability, flexibility, and student well-being. At the same time, Sciving is expanding its network of global partners. The student housing challenge is not limited to a single country or region. Universities and cities around the world are facing similar pressures, and conversations are now developing beyond Europe as organizations seek new approaches to student accommodation. These partnerships will help ensure that future projects remain locally adapted while contributing to a broader international effort to improve student living conditions. A central focus for the year will also be dialogue with policymakers and public decision-makers. Solving the housing shortage requires cooperation between private innovation and public leadership. Sciving will therefore work toward establishing contact with the relevant politicians and institutions that influence urban development, student welfare, and housing policy. By contributing practical solutions and real project experience, Sciving hopes to support initiatives that make it easier and faster to create affordable student housing where it is most needed. 2026 represents a turning point. What began as student feedback gathered at universities has evolved into a movement preparing to deliver tangible solutions at scale. Construction, collaboration, and advocacy will define the year, as Sciving works to transform ideas into homes and conversations into action. As the year unfolds, Sciving remains committed to its original mission: creating housing shaped by students themselves while helping cities respond to the realities of modern student life. The goal for 2026 is clear. Move from preparation to implementation, strengthen global partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to solving the student housing crisis facing Copenhagen, Europe, and beyond.
