Sciving is advancing plans for affordable, sustainable student housing in Denmark through ongoing discussions with municipalities and preparations for its first major project. 27th may 2026 Sciving moves closer to its first Danish student housing project May has been a month of significant progress for Sciving, as new conversations have been initiated with several of Denmark’s largest municipalities while existing dialogues continue to advance. The growing interest in transportable and sustainable student housing solutions is creating exciting opportunities, bringing Sciving closer to its first major student housing project in Denmark. Throughout the month, Sciving has held meetings with several of Denmark’s largest municipalities to discuss how new student housing developments can help address the increasing demand for accommodation. Many of these conversations build on work carried out over the past year, and several have now progressed to discussions about potential project locations, local student housing needs, and the requirements for bringing new developments to life. As a result, Sciving is closer than ever to securing its first major student housing project in Denmark. Last month, Sciving introduced several new members to the team. Just a few weeks later, the impact is already becoming clear. The expanded organization has allowed Sciving to increase its activity significantly, with meetings taking place across Denmark while project development work continues at full pace behind the scenes. As demand for new student housing projects continues to grow, having the right people in place has become increasingly important. The strengthened team is helping Sciving maintain momentum across multiple opportunities simultaneously and ensuring that promising discussions can be turned into real projects faster and more efficiently. The strong interest from municipalities reflects a challenge that continues to grow across Denmark. In many university cities, demand for student housing significantly exceeds current housing solutions, leaving students with limited affordable options close to their place of study. As municipalities look for solutions that can be delivered faster and more sustainably, modular construction is becoming an increasingly relevant part of the conversation. The growing shortage of student housing is precisely the challenge Sciving was created to address. Through affordable, healthy, and transportable housing units, Sciving Student Housing offers a new approach that enables cities and universities to expand housing capacity faster and more flexibly than traditional developments. May has provided further confirmation that the need for new student housing solutions is being recognized across Denmark. The month has been marked by productive meetings, growing engagement from municipalities, and meaningful progress across several ongoing opportunities. While important work remains ahead, Sciving continues to move steadily toward its first major student housing project in Denmark. Written by Sciving, 2026

- NEWS: Sciving advances digital platform while continuing expansion across Europe
As Sciving continues to build momentum in 2026, March has marked an important step in strengthening both the physical and digital foundations of student housing. While ongoing discussions with plot owners and partners across Europe continue to shape future locations, a parallel focus has been placed on developing the Sciving App, bringing the platform closer to the students it is designed to serve. 27th March 2026 Sciving advances digital platform while continuing expansion across Europe As Sciving continues to build momentum in 2026, March has marked an important step in strengthening both the physical and digital foundations of student housing. While ongoing discussions with plot owners and partners across Europe continue to shape future locations, a parallel focus has been placed on developing the Sciving App, bringing the platform closer to the students it is designed to serve. Over the past months, Sciving has been working to ensure that its housing concept is not only scalable in construction, but also accessible in practice. The continued development of the Sciving App reflects this ambition. What began as a supporting idea is now evolving into a central part of the overall system, designed to connect students directly with housing opportunities, resources, and their university environment. The platform will allow students to register their interest in Sciving housing, explore available units, and stay informed as projects move closer to completion. By creating a transparent and structured process, the app aims to simplify access to student housing, reducing uncertainty and making it easier for students to plan their living situation ahead of time. Beyond access to housing, the app is also being developed as a space for communication and community. Students will be able to engage with both Sciving and their universities through a single platform, ensuring a more coordinated experience from initial sign-up to move-in. At the same time, the app will support partnerships that provide practical benefits, including access to student services and potential cost-saving opportunities that ease the financial pressure of university life. While development of the app continues, work across Europe remains active. Conversations with plot owners, municipalities, and universities are progressing steadily, with each step bringing greater clarity to where and how future Sciving housing will be delivered. The combination of physical expansion and digital development reflects a broader approach, where housing is not only built, but supported by systems that improve accessibility and everyday use. March has therefore been a month of alignment. As Sciving continues to move forward with site discussions and project planning, the digital platform is being shaped to ensure that once housing becomes available, students are ready to access it. The connection between these two areas will be essential in delivering a complete and functional housing solution. As the year progresses, Sciving remains focused on building both infrastructure and accessibility at the same time. By continuing to develop the Sciving App alongside its European expansion, the goal is to create a system where students can easily find, secure, and benefit from housing designed around their needs. The work continues, bringing Sciving closer to a fully integrated approach to student living. Written by Sciving, 2026
- NEWS: Launching Student Housing in Europe | Sciving
March brings new momentum as Sciving moves closer to announcing the first locations for its student housing units. After months of preparation and ongoing conversations with universities across Europe, Sciving expects to share the selected sites in the coming months. 22nd april 2025 Sciving Expands Operations with New Management and Cleaning Service Picture taken at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) Sciving is excited to announce a major step toward ensuring long-term quality and reliability in the day-to-day experience of our residents. This month, Sciving officially began the development of its own internal branch dedicated to the management and cleaning of all Sciving housing units. This initiative stems from a simple but important goal: to ensure that all Sciving homes meet the same high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management regardless of location. While many housing providers outsource these services, we believe that directly managing these responsibilities allows us to provide a better experience for students, reduce inefficiencies, and take more ownership over the environments we create. From the very beginning, Sciving’s mission has been to provide sustainable, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed housing for students. With the addition of our internal operations branch, we are taking that commitment one step further. By keeping our services in-house, we gain full control over everything from daily cleaning routines to on-call maintenance and support. This will allow us to be more proactive, consistent, and responsive to the needs of our residents. It also means we can align our services with the same environmental values that guide the design and construction of our units, for example by using sustainable cleaning products, minimizing waste, and training our staff in energy-efficient maintenance practices. We also recognize that universities may already have established campus facilities teams or preferred partnerships. That’s why our model is designed to be flexible. While Sciving will offer a full-service operational package as a default, we also invite universities to propose their own internal teams to manage the units locally if that better suits their needs. In these cases, we will work closely with those teams to provide guidelines and training, ensuring that students receive the same high-quality experience regardless of who is delivering it. The creation of this new operational branch has already begun, with recruitment and training processes currently underway. Our team is focused on building a service model that reflects the same attention to detail, care, and sustainability that goes into our physical housing units. Just as we have rethought student housing design from the ground up, we are now rethinking the way student housing is maintained and managed. As our first residents prepare to move in later this year, we are laying the groundwork for a long-term vision of student housing that is both innovative and dependable. We look forward to sharing more updates as our new management and cleaning branch takes shape and as we continue working with universities to build the future of student living together. Sciving advances plans with universities to bring sustainable student housing to five European cities, while building partnerships with municipalities, landowners, and developers to secure long-term success. 28th august 2025 Sciving prepares for expansion into five European cities during summer break Picture taken at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) While many students are still on summer break, Sciving continues to push forward with the work that will shape the future of student housing. This month marks an important stage in our journey, as we move closer to finalizing agreements with universities that could bring Sciving housing to five different European cities. The conversations that began earlier this year have now developed into detailed planning sessions with university leaders. Together, we are exploring how Sciving housing can be integrated into campus environments or nearby areas, providing sustainable and student-centered living options that address both immediate housing shortages and long-term accommodation strategies. Each university brings its own priorities, from sustainability goals to community-building initiatives, but the shared momentum highlights a common challenge: traditional housing models are no longer meeting the needs of today’s students. By engaging in these discussions during the summer, when universities have more flexibility in their schedules, we are able to work more closely with decision-makers and ensure that every detail is considered. From site selection to design frameworks, these talks are laying the foundation for projects that will set new standards in student housing. In addition to our university partnerships, Sciving is also expanding its network of collaborators. Their involvement is key to securing viable sites, navigating planning requirements, and ensuring that each location has the long-term stability needed to support thriving student communities. August has shown that Sciving is entering a decisive period of growth. What began as a vision to rethink student housing is now becoming a reality across multiple cities, with real projects and real partnerships taking shape. As summer draws to a close, we remain focused on transforming these plans into action, bringing Sciving closer to students who need housing that is sustainable, innovative, and built for the future. - NEWS: Starting 2025 | Sciving
Sciving starts 2025 by launching student housing pilots across Europe and expanding university partnerships. Students will help shape the future of Sciving housing based on their real-life needs. 21st january 2025 Starting 2025 by turning student feedback into action across Europe Picture taken at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) After a successful 2024, where Sciving completed its first prototype at DTU and worked closely with students to improve indoor climate solutions, the start of 2025 marks an exciting new phase. This year, Sciving is officially launching its first international pilot projects, while expanding partnerships with universities that want to rethink student housing alongside us. These pilot projects will take place in five European cities, each with a community of 25 to 50 residences. What makes these projects different is the role that students themselves will play in shaping them. From day one, the residents will share their real-life experiences, offering feedback on everything from room layouts to the way students sleep and study. Sciving’s goal is to move beyond assumptions about what students need, and instead build housing based on how students actually live. The foundation for this year’s work comes from the growing network of university partners that Sciving built throughout 2024. These partnerships, involving housing offices, sustainability departments, and student unions, are essential to making sure each community reflects local student culture and academic traditions. This collaboration ensures that what works well in one location can be adapted to fit the unique needs of students elsewhere. While sustainability remains part of every project, the focus in 2025 shifts toward something students have repeatedly highlighted in feedback: affordability and flexibility. Students are clear about what matters most to them. They want housing that is comfortable, affordable, and designed to support both study and social life. These practical insights will guide every design decision this year. Throughout 2025, Sciving will share regular updates as the pilots progress, including interviews with students who choose to live in the first units. Applications will open soon, and by the end of the year, the first residents will have moved in. These early communities will do more than provide housing. They will help define the future of student living across Europe. By giving students an active role in shaping their homes, Sciving is ensuring that innovation is guided by the people who know student life best, the students themselves. Written by Sciving, 2025
- NEWS: Launching Student Housing in Europe | Sciving
Sciving is preparing student housing pilots in five European cities. Students can already sign up to suggest where Sciving should expand next, ensuring future housing reflects their needs and preferences. 27th february 2025 Sciving launching student housing in European Cities Picture taken at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) Sciving is moving ahead with plans to establish pilot projects in five European cities, taking the next step toward creating student housing shaped directly by students themselves. Each pilot will consist of between 50 to 200 residences, forming small-scale communities where students will help influence future Sciving designs based on their real-life experience living there. While planning is progressing well, and we expects to announce the selected cities and universities within the next few months. In the meantime, students across Europe can already sign up to suggest universities where they want to see Sciving housing in the future. This is a unique opportunity for students to have a direct voice in deciding where Sciving should expand after these initial pilots. The sign-up form is available now on sciving.com, and Sciving encourages all interested students to get involved. Unlike traditional housing developments, where designs are finalized long before students move in, Sciving takes a different approach. In these pilots, students will be actively involved from the moment they arrive, providing feedback on everything from study spaces and kitchen layouts to the overall sense of community and privacy. This direct input will ensure that future Sciving housing is built around how students actually live, study, and connect. Each pilot project is being developed in collaboration with local university partners, making sure the housing fits both academic routines and the social culture of each location. Sciving believes that student housing works best when it reflects not only practical needs but also the unique character of each university community. Sustainability is an important part of the design process, but not something Sciving presents as a standalone feature. Instead, students will experience sustainability directly through lower energy bills, better indoor climate, and smart materials that are both comfortable and environmentally responsible. By balancing sustainability with practical everyday benefits, Sciving ensures that comfort and affordability remain top priorities. Sciving will share regular updates as the pilot plans develop, and once the locations are confirmed, applications will open for students interested in becoming the very first residents. The feedback from these early residents will play a key role in shaping how Sciving housing evolves in the years ahead. With these pilots, Sciving is not just building housing. It is building a conversation with students about what great student living should look like. By signing up now and sharing where they want Sciving to go next, students have a real chance to influence both the future of Sciving and the future of student housing across Europe.
