September has been an active month for Scivings, as the company continues working toward its first student housing development. Building on the progress made throughout the summer, Scivings has visited five potential development sites across Denmark and engaged in discussions with more than ten mayors nationally and internationally. These activities represent important steps in identifying suitable locations and strengthening relationships with local decision-makers who play a central role in bringing new student housing opportunities to life.

Throughout September, Scivings has focused on exploring potential locations where its modular student housing concept could be introduced. The five site visits across Denmark have provided valuable insights into local conditions, development possibilities, and the practical requirements involved in establishing new student homes. Each location presents different opportunities and considerations, making these visits an important part of evaluating where the Scivings concept could be implemented.

Alongside the site visits, Scivings has continued expanding its dialogue with municipalities and local leadership. Conversations with more than ten mayors across Denmark and internationally have provided opportunities to discuss student housing needs, local development priorities, and the potential role of flexible housing solutions. These discussions are helping Scivings better understand how its housing concept could support municipalities facing challenges related to student accommodation.

One of the central challenges identified throughout these conversations remains access to suitable land. While Scivings has developed a sustainable, affordable, and transportable student housing solution designed to adapt to different environments, bringing a project to life requires more than a suitable physical location. Local planning regulations, permits, land ownership, and future municipal development strategies all influence where and when new student housing can be established.

For Scivings, the combination of direct site visits and conversations with local decision-makers has become an essential part of the development process. By engaging with municipalities early and understanding their individual requirements, the company is working to identify opportunities where its modular housing solution can provide practical value. These efforts also contribute to building the relationships necessary to move potential developments from initial conversations toward more concrete project planning.

With its housing concept ready and investors prepared to support future developments, Scivings remains focused on securing the right location for its first student homes. The growing network of municipal contacts, combined with a deeper understanding of potential sites, is helping the company navigate the planning processes and practical considerations involved in establishing new housing developments.
