Biomasse Plantning og høstning af træer udføres bæredygtigt og følger internationale bedste praksisser. Når træerne er blevet høstet, bliver den resterende biomasse, herunder grene og blade, omhyggeligt genanvendt. Denne genanvendte biomasse har flere anvendelsesmuligheder, hvoraf en særlig fremhævelse er produktionen af briketter. Med deres fundamentteknologi er vi sikre på, at vores bygninger vil stå stærkt og sikkert i mange år fremover, og vi er stolte af at være en del af den næste generation af bæredygtigt byggeri. Ved at etablere denne indledende prototype på DTU drager vi ikke kun fordel af akademisk ekspertise, men vi lægger også fundamentet for en samarbejdsbaseret tilgang til at forme fremtiden for modulært byggeri. As 2026 begins, Sciving enters the year with a renewed sense of direction and responsibility. After a year focused on preparation, partnerships, and development, the coming months will center on construction, new global collaborations, and direct engagement with one of the most pressing challenges facing students today: the growing housing crisis. 29th january 2026 Sciving prepares for a year of construction and action on the student housing crisis As 2026 begins, Sciving enters the year with a renewed sense of direction and responsibility. After a year focused on preparation, partnerships, and development, the coming months will center on construction, new global collaborations, and direct engagement with one of the most pressing challenges facing students today: the growing housing crisis. Across Europe, students continue to struggle to find affordable housing close to their universities. Cities such as Copenhagen reflect a wider reality shared by many capitals, where rising rents, limited availability, and long waiting lists make it increasingly difficult for students to secure stable living conditions. Access to education is becoming closely connected to access to housing, and this reality is shaping Sciving’s priorities for the year ahead. Throughout 2025, Sciving built the foundation needed to move from planning into execution. Partnerships with universities, municipalities, and industry collaborators created the framework required to begin real construction projects. In 2026, that work moves forward as Sciving prepares sites, aligns manufacturing processes, and coordinates logistics to begin delivering student housing communities designed around affordability, flexibility, and student well-being. At the same time, Sciving is expanding its network of global partners. The student housing challenge is not limited to a single country or region. Universities and cities around the world are facing similar pressures, and conversations are now developing beyond Europe as organizations seek new approaches to student accommodation. These partnerships will help ensure that future projects remain locally adapted while contributing to a broader international effort to improve student living conditions. The preparations for the Sciving App have continued to advance throughout the autumn, and November brings with it a bold new initiative aimed at expanding student access, increasing visibility, and strengthening the community that stands behind Sciving’s mission. Sciving is now exploring the use of crowdfunding not only as a means to support the development of the app, but as a way to bring global attention to the mission behind it. The decision to consider crowdfunding grew from a simple realization: many students, whether in Europe or far beyond, face the same challenges of affordability, sustainability, and access to supportive communities. By opening the project to a broader audience, Sciving hopes to create a collective sense of ownership and invite students everywhere to participate in shaping tools designed for their future. Crowdfunding offers a way for students and supporters to discover Sciving’s vision early, engage with its development, and share it within their own networks. The aim is to create a wave of awareness that extends far beyond the first campuses set to adopt Sciving housing. Central to this effort is the Sciving App itself, which will become the gateway to opportunities, savings, and community engagement.
